The Thorndale girl’s cross country team continued their stellar season after placing eighth in the Regional Meet.
The meet featured Port Aransas, Harper, Brackett, Thrall, Premont, Falls City, Hall, Shiner, Mason, San Saba, Freer, Riviera-Kaufer, Hull-Daisetta, Weimar, Sabinal, Burton, Sabine Pass, Normangee, Snook,
Refugio, Somerville, La Pryor, Milano, Yorktown, Flatonia, Goldwaithe, Johnson City, Schulenburg and Three Cities.
The girls were required to run two miles for their race.
Ashley Pesl placed 46th with a time of 14:44. Landri Martinka finished in 47th at 14:47. Vicknair Ava placed 80th at 16:16. Makaelyn Vivas finished 90th at 16:45. Bailey Baker placed 95th at 16:59. Hannah Fisher finished 99th at 17:07, while Jacey Paulsen was 104th at 17:40.
