With a 49-32 win over Granger early Friday evening, the Thorndale Bulldogs are still undefeated in District 25-2A.

THS was led by Kolby Neumeyer with 22 points.

Sophomore Logan Davis was also in the double digits with 12 while seniors Garrett Bernstein and Jagger Rubio had five and four points respectively.

LAST WEEK–Earlier in the week, the Bulldogs annihilated Holland in the THS Gymnasium 63-39.

Four THS hoopers ended the game with double-digit scoring including Neumeyer with 17, Chance Betak and Ty Kovar, who had 11 each and Bernstein with 10.

THIS WEEK–Thorndale faced a strong Mumford on Tuesday after press time that is coming off a 75-33 win over Milano on Friday.

They play next in Milano this Friday at the Geneva Paceley Gymnasium.

The Eagles are winless through their first two district contests, but are coming off a close game with 13-6 Somerville last week.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

TABC–As of Tuesday, the Bulldogs are ranked ninth in the latest TABC poll.

They are 3-0 in district play and wrap up the first round of district play when they face fourth-ranked Hearne next Tuesday on the road.

LADY BULLDOGS– Thorndale’s girls also remain undefeated in district play after taking down Granger 48-32 on the road Friday.

THS got off to a fast start going up 13-4 at the close of the first, but the Lady Lions kept Thorndale within reach, holding the maroon-and-gold to one basket in the second quarter and making the game 15-14 at the end of the half.

Thorndale regained control in the third, outscoring GHS 33-18 in the second half to win the game 48-32.

Savanna Taylor led with 14 and Bailey Dickerson had 10.

Kiera Rash, Makayla Lafferty and Kyndal Robinson also contributed with eight, six and five.

LAST WEEK–Thorn-dale also beat Holland 52-38 three days earlier.

Lafferty led with 18 and Taylor had 17.

THIS WEEK–The Lady Bulldogs faced Mumford after press time and play next on Friday in Milano.

Their game against the winless Lady Eagles is their final game of the first half of district.

Tip-off is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
