The Tiger JV team lost against the Franklin Lions at home last week. The final score was 30-0.
It’s true that “Tiger Fight Never Dies” and the Tigers proved that in the second half, fighting the Lions all the way to the end of the game.
The Tigers played strong starting in the second quarter keeping the Lions scoreless in the second half and even kept the ball for a large portion of the third quarter but were unable to produce any points despite the offensive effort.
In the fourth quarter the Tigers went all the way down the field but the Lions kept them out of the end zone.
Again, the final score was Franklin 30, Rockdale 0.
COMING UP— These Tigers will hit the road and play against Troy for their next game.
The Tiger JV is currently 1-4 for the season and 0-1 in district.
