The Rockdale Tiger junior varsity squad was on the road against Academy last week and won in a close game, 26-22.
Key plays and players in the game were:
• Shawn Gerren, who both caused and recovered a fumble early in the game.
• Kendrick Henderson ran 57 yards for a touchdown.
• Emilano Tovar had two interceptions.
• Alexis Sorto converted ered
two extra kicks.
• Amaury O'Bryant went 18 yards for a touchdown and had an interception.
• Slayde Harris threw a touchdown st r ike to Gage Skrhak.
• Jonathan Fuller scored on an 88-yard punt return.
The Tigers had over 300 yards of total offense and the defense forced four turnovers.
