Milano Elementary fourth-grader Audrey Tibbitts has earned the Defensive Wizard Award at the 10-and-under All-American games in Round Rock.
According to her father, Tibbitts went five-of-eight at the plate batting four runs in and crossing home plate three times.
As a result of her performance, she has been invited to play for the 10-and-under All-American Elite team in Las Vegas.
Tibbitts is the second MISD student to join an All-American Elite team after MJH student Toni Meyer made one of the older teams.
She is the daughter of Richard and Michelle Tibbitts of Rockdale.
