Tiger boosters raised close to $15,700 at their annual golf tournament and fundraiser this past Saturday at the Rockdale Country Club.
A team made up of Kirk Williams, Brady Nelson, Kaybee Nelson, Nic Evans and Spencer Evans won first out of 17 teams with a score of 54 and a prize of $750.
Finishing in second was Jeff Caffey, Russell Caffey, Brian Jones, Mic Mader and Ben White with a score of 56. The group won a prize of $500.
They placed second after winning a tie-breaker over the eventual third place team made up of Clayton Bland, Jeff King, Keith Kuzel, Paul Marburger and Stefan Ruiz. The group in third was awarded a prize of $250.
According to tournament representatives, 75 golfers played in the tournament. Many also took part in the crawfish boil in the evening following the end of play.
