District 11-3A-I picks were released to the public this past Friday with five Rockdale High School football players selected ed for the first team while three more Tigers were voted on to the second team.
Blaydn Barcak, Gerren Marrero, Robert Owens, Cade Pantaleon and Lane Rickman were first team all-district and Isaiah Sauls, selected for the second team.
Honorable mentions on offense were Zakobe Anderson, Tim Grice, Mason Meschwitz, Daniel Romero, De’Andre Stephens, Stewart, Erik Sheppard and Mason Willard. On defense, honorable mentions were Jose Castillo, Tristan Galvan, Myles Spencer and Rickman. Academic all-district selections were Galvan, Pantaleon, Barcak, Spears, Sauls, Meschwitz, Willard, Rickman, Ryan Ivan Bonner.
The Tigers went 2-4 in district play with an overall record of 3-7 this season.
