HUNTSVILLE— On Tuesday morning, Rockdale High School junior Jesus Bocanegra secured his third consecutive trip to the UIL Cross Country state championships in November.
Bocanegra punched his ticket to Round Rock’s Old Settlers Park, where the state meet takes place, after finishing seventh with a time of 16:59.32. The Tiger runner went the majority of his season without losing a race, winning six gold medals prior to district.
