With the 2019 football season to a close, that means the Rockdale Tiger basketball team had their full roster available when they traveled to Bartlett to beat the Bulldogs 48-41 in their season opener.
For the most part, Rock-dale’s varsity squad is full of new faces due to the graduations of Kelan Evans, Zac Davis, Braden Moore, Mason Monzingo and Ryker Zinn with starting point guard Kobe Mitchell, foward Mekhi Crawford and guard J.J. Moreno as the only players returning to RHS that had meaningful playing time for the varsity during the 2018-2019 season.
On Friday, they head down to Burleson County to take on Caldwell.
Tip-off for the varsity boys is at 7:30 p.m.
JV1 plays at 5 and JV2 plays at 6:15.
