Both Tiger and Lady Tiger track teams kicked off the District 20-3A meet on Wednesday after press time at Tiger Stadium with field events and running prelims taking place throughout the day.
Running events began at 4:40 p.m., with the 100/110-meter hurdles. The 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash, 300-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash also took place.
Finals will begin Thursday evening with the 4x100-meter relay at 6:00 p.m.
The last event scheduled is the mile relay at nine.
Top four finishers in each event will compete at the area meet in Crockett which is slated to take place on Wednesday, April 14.
