THORNDALE— The Blue & Gold paid a visit to the gym in Thorndale last week and came home with a loss of 70-54.
Tiger Alex Cooper was high point man for the Rockdale with 21, David Penny contributed nine points, Greyson Williams put up six for Big Blue and Jeremiah Watts supplied Rockdale with five points for the night.
JV— Sub-varsity also played against Thorndale. JV Gold won 47-37.
Key players: Charles Murphy 14 points; Jonathan Fuller, 10 points; and Jaylen Ramey, nine points.
JV Blue won 35-27.
SALADO TOURNAMENT— The Rockdale Tigers could not get any traction last week in the Salado Tournament. They went 0-5 after facing some stiff competition.
Game one against 4A Gatesville was 60-30.
Game two against the Austin Royals, a home school team, 45-43.
Game three was against 5A Lake Belton, 58-47.
Game four was a 60-40 final against the Liberal Arts and Science Academy.
Final ly, the Tiger s played Emery Weimar. The final score was 56-34.
COMING UP— The Tigers were to host Bremond in Tiger Gym on Tuesday, then head to Centerville later in the week to play in the Centerville Tournament starting Thursday.
