Rockdale’s boys got their third straight loss with a 64-55 final against Troy on Tuesday night at home.

“The ball movement wasn’t really there,” said coach Marcus McNeil. “We had one person touch the ball before getting a shot up.”

“But if we play a little more consistent, I think we’ll be all right.”

Troy got off to a fast start with a 14-3 run before the Tigers worked their way back in and trailing 34-28 at halftime.

Troy built a 43-32 lead early in the second half but an Anthony Dansby three, a left-baseline lay-in by J.J. Moreno followed by a Kobe Mitchell steal that ended with a Ryan Blair three cut the score to 45-40 at the close of three.

The magic didn’t last long as Troy overpowered the Tigers in the fourth.

Dansby led with 11 and Ross Loth had 10.
