Two THS players were named to the 2019-2020 UIL Girls Basketball All-Region team.
Senior point guard Savana Taylor and power forward Makayla Lafferty helped the Lady Bulldogs to a 15-7 record, first place finish in District 25-2A and a trip to Area.
Taylor was named to the team after having a productive season on both sides of the ball.
Her highlights of the season included a double-double against Milano and another double-double against Brentwood Christian. Taylor proved to be a force on defense as she recorded numerous games with multiple steals including her season high of six steals against Mumford.
Lafferty was also named to the team for her breakout season. Her best moments of the season included a double-double against Brentwood Christian, and sh e had four games where she recorded three steals.
