All-District 10-3A teams were named on Monday following Troy’s 35-14 loss to Grandview in the Region III finals at Zaco LV Irida|1
Twenty-two Tigers earned district nods.
Rockdale’s Cam’Ron Valdez was named Offensive Player of the Year after rushing for 1,697 yards and scoring 27 TD’s for the Tigers this season.
Linemen Kaden Kruse and Keymani Hamilton also received honors with receiver Kesean Raven, quarterback Jace Robinson and Valdez to make the District 43-6D- offensive first team
Fhase a|field/ hristian Briggs, Enrique Rivera, Ty Mayberry and Raven were selected for the first team on defense.
Ross Loth, Cole Rickman, Alex Ellison and Anthony Dansby made all-second team on offense and Landon Towns, Ethan Hughes, Brandon Hernandez, Dray-ton Castaneda and Bruce Pa|field were named to the defensive second team.
Honorable mentions were Kobe Mitchell on defense and Loth as the special team punter.
Hagen Land, Jake Hasselbach, Keylan Hairston, Hughes, Loth, Chase, Raven, Rickman, Rivera and Robinson were all named to the Academic All-District team.
Rockdale went 8-3 this season with a third place finish in district behind Cameron and district champion Troy.
