The Lady Tigers wrapped up their season last week with a road loss against the Rogers Eagles. The varsity lost 0-3, the JV lost 0-2. The Lady Tigers went 1-13 in district and 15-24 for the year.
“It was a tough season and district was hard,” said former Lady Tiger and current Head Volleyball Coach Morgan Laughlin. “We are going to miss our seniors but our underclassmen have helped lay a solid foundation for next year. They faced a lot of adversity, especially with multiple injuries.”
“So many athletes really improved this season,” Coach Laughlin added. “Grace Patton and Molly Moody became a big force blocking in the middle. Macy McDaniel at Libero played exc ept iona l ly well and Trinity Hurd is one of the best setters I’ve ever seen.” “We have some really talented kids, despite the challenges it was really fun to see them grow,” she said.
Tiger Nation looks forward to seeing this team on the court next year. Let’s go Lady Tigers!
