ONLY TWO NEW CASES WEDNESDAY

From County Judge Steve Young Wednesday night: Today we had two new cases to report and two persons have been discharged.  Additionally, we have three new probable cases and one person was discharged from a hospital.  Wednesday, we tested twelve people in Milano with two positive results.

TWO NEW COVID CASES ON THURSDAY

From Milam County Judge Steve Young Thursday night: Thursday we had two new confirmed cases of the virus to report in Milam County.  Six individuals were discharged from the active case list.  A Milam County adolescent has been diagnosed with Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children.

MILAM BURN BAN LIFTED

The Milam County outdoor burn ban was lifted at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, according to County Judge Steve Young.  The burn ban lifting applies only to rural areas of the county. Municipalities in the county have their own, permanant, outdoor burn bans.

FOUR NEW COVID CASES ON WEDNESDAY

From County Judge Steve Young Wednesday night: Wednesday we have four new confirmed cases of the virus to report in Milam County.  We discharged three active cases, but another person was admitted to a local hospital.  Four individuals were tested in Milano today with one positive result.

MILAM LOGS FOURTH COVID-19 DEATH

  Milam County Judge Steve Young said late Wednesday the county's COVID-19 death total has increased from three to four but not because of any recent deaths.

COMPLAINT FILED AGAINST ROCKDALE OFFICER

  Rockdale Police Chief Jerry Meadors is reviewing evidence after a complaint was filed by a member of the public, alleging an officer used "excessive force" during a traffic stop.   Meadors, who did not name the officer, said the complaint was filed by Rockdale resident Brittany Lopez.

CITY SEEKS HELP ON WATER CONSERVATION
