The 18th annual Buddy Oney Toy Run brought to you by The Bad To The Bone Riders of Rockdale will take place on Dec. 2 at The Ranch. This annual ride in memory of the late Buddy Oney benefits the needy children of all Milam County by giving 100% of the proceeds to the Milam County C.P.S.

Rockdale Elementary School students presented the first musical number to a packed house at the annual Veterans Day ceremony on Friday morning in the high school gym. Students from every RISD school were bussed in for the program.

Town & Country Club holds meeting

The Thorndale Town & Country Club met at the country home of Monica Leatherwood, daughter of club member Patsy Palm who was the hostess for the meeting. The club met on Nov. 2 and began the meeting with the club prayer recited in unison.
