his Monday was cloudy and very dreary. Since it is November, that is the kind of weather we have this time of year. The younger ones would love snow—enough to build a snowman. It is hard to believe it is November. Time to start getting everything together for Christmas—and buying gifts.

Connect Church is holding a Friendsgiving event following morning worship on Sunday and a hamburger bar with all the fixings will be the meal. Worship starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Rockdale Elementary School gym. All are welcome and come casual.

Senior pastor installation set at St. Paul Lutheran

A Celebration of Installation service will be held on Sunday, November 19 at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale to install Rev. Jeffrey Doria as the new Senior Pastor. Immediately following the service, a reception with refreshments will be held in the St. Paul Family Activity Center.

Under the direction of Bill Torrey, the Milam County District Attorney, the following felony cases were recently resolved in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th Judicial District Court:
