Ward Roddam to be honored at reception

The Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department will host a reception Saturday to honor Ward Roddam’s 31-year career with the department. It will be from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Rockdale Fire Station at 301 Wilcox St.

Arbranae Sessoms earned dean’s honor status at Prairie View A&M University which is for students with GPAs of 3.0 to 4.49. Sessoms graduated from Rockdale High School where she was on the track team. She hopes to become a lawyer.

Milam A&M club plans Aggie muster April 21
