I am already in full blown protest mode towards the holidays. I’m a Scrooge and I wish we could skip fall and winter and, in my dreams, we would be in an endless June. A June without Father’s Day and Flag Day—I’m good with Juneteenth but that’s it, no more holidays ever.

Rockdale PD reports one traffic accident over past seven days

• Ofc. Clark responded to near the intersection of East Belton and Douthit Street for a two-vehicle accident with unknown injuries on Sept. 29 at 12:54 p.m. Arrests RPD officers made 4 arrests during the past seven days all for Capias Pro Fine.

MILAM COUNTY JAIL LOG

Jail log lists all people charged with offenses through the county jail in Cameron. Charges may change during the process. Persons are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.

MHS seniors busy fundraising for Project Graduation in May

Milano High School seniors are busy raising funds for a very special night in May. The mission of Project Graduation is to keep high school seniors safe on graduation night by providing a fun, substance-free event that prevents alcohol and drug-related accidents, and deaths.

REUNIONS

Rockdale High School Class of 1973 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at Tiger Stadium to watch the RHS Tiger football team play McGregor High School. General admission tickets are required for admission. A section of seats for the Class of 1973 is reserved. Contact Keith Wall at keithwall@rocketmail.
