K9 deputy assists in narcotics arrest

A Milam County K9 deputy and his partner assisted in a drug bust on Milam County roads on Friday, October 10. Milam County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Alex Infantino responded just before 11 a.m. with his partner, K9 Deputy Lexus, at the request of Texas Department of Public Safety troopers.

Walk the 2.2-mile Ranchería Grande trail on Saturday

As part of El Camino Real Day, Saturday, citizens are invited to observe the unveiling of the dedication panels at “Walk the Ranchería Grande” trail followed by an optional hike to the village site. The free event starts at Cedar Hill Nature Preserve, 12374 FM 2095, Gause, at 10 am.
