COVID-19 cases continue to rise

Another twenty new active cases were reported in Milam County on Wednesday; seven new PCR cases and thirteen new probable cases.  Nine PCR cases were discharged, and five probable cases were discharged.  No one was admitted to a hospital and no one was discharged.

COVID-19 cases keep climbing

COVID-19 cases in the county jumped by  twenty-four new active cases to report in Milam County on Monday. There are twelve new PCR cases and twelve new probable cases.  Four PCR cases were discharged, and one probable case was discharged.

COVID-19 cases continue upward trend

Testing revealed fifteen new active cases to report in Milam County today; six new PCR cases and nine new probable cases.  Three PCR cases were discharged, and five probable cases were discharged.  No new hospital admissions. Today's testing is in Buckholts from 8 a.m. – noon at 111 West Main.

There were four new PCR cases and five new probable found in Wednesday testing.  Three PCR cases were discharged, and eight probable cases were discharged.  No one was admitted to a hospital and one was discharged.  Today's testing is in Cameron from 8 a.m. to 3: p.m. in the fire station.

Thorndale shopping plaza approved

The Thorndale City Council approved the development of vacant lots at 606 and 702 East US 79 for the construction of Thorndale Plaza at the Nov. 11 meeting in City Hall. Council members also voted to remove two stop signs facing east and west from Gibson and North Second streets.

Milam County OKs vote totals in General Election

Milam County Commissioners canvassed the votes from the General Election on Nov. 3 from the polling sites around the county Monday morning in a special meeting in the courthouse.
