Night of Peace event

Rockdale Earth Day will present its third annual Night of Peace Celebration at Wolf Park on Sunday, September 21 at 7:30 p.m. The Sparky Thomason Jazz Quartet will perform, and Pastor Madison Garcia- Tabor of St. John’s United Methodist Church will deliver this year’s peace homily.

Dr. Daniel Tabor, assistant professor of chemistry at Texas A&M University, has been awarded the 2025 JPC C Lectureship Award by the American Chemical Society for his pioneering work using artificial intelligence to advance materials discovery for energy and electronics.
