ROCKDALE CHRISTIAN SERVICES

RCS food pantry Rockdale Christian Services operates a food pantry at 224 West Cameron Avenue, open 10 a.m. until noon weekdays. Donations of non-perishable food items are welcome, especially one-pound bags of rice, pinto beans, macaroni and cheese, canned soups and peanut butter.

Rockdale High School art students, Chloe Rundell (L) and Andrea Ruiz recently had entries accepted into the Central Texas Art Competition. The competition was held in the Visual Communications Department and Gallery on the campus of Temple College.

ORGANIZATIONS

Scholarship Jam offered at Taylor SPJST Central Texas Pickers will hold a scholarship jam session on S unday, Feb. 9 from 4 -8 p.m. at the Taylor S PJ T Hall. There will be live music and BB sandwiches and an auction. All pickers welcome. Call 512-352-9139 for more info.
