It’s a new year and the initial First Friday Get-together in the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library was held just three days into 2020. The monthly meet-and-greets are sponsored by different organizations and this one was hosted by the Rockdale Earth Day Committee.

Lifeline Screening set

Lifeline Screening will be at the Patterson Center on Jan. 16 to offer Rockdale residents a variety of health screening services. Screenings can assess risks for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes and other chronic illnesses.
