CAMERON—A Milam County Grand Jury on Thursday returned 45 true bills (indictments) against 37 persons Thursday, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey. One was against a 55-year-old Rockdale resident who was arrested Dec. 2 over images found on a cell phone.

Lions Soup Suppers change dates, location The Noon Lions Club’s annual January soup suppers are changing a bit for 2020. Allen Sanders, club president said instead of holding the tasty events every Thursday during the month they will scheduled only twice, Jan. 9 and 23. Each of those is a Thursday.
