Milam County COVID-19 death toll reaches 82

Ladies & Gentlemen:  This evening we report our third COVID-19 death this week.  This brings the death toll in Milam County to 82.  Please encourage vaccinations.  Our case count is down to 16 active cases in the County, with only 2 new cases to report today. 

 Current Numbers:

2085 total cases

14 active cases (plus 1)

 1636 Probable cases (Antigen detected test results, not included in total case count)

2 Active cases (no change)

 16 confirmed, active cases in Milam County.

 338 total hospitalized

6 currently hospitalized (no change)

82 fatalities (plus 1)

 Four (4) individual(s) hospitalized is in serious condition (vents)

  

Vaccinations:

11 Total Administered

9 Moderna: 1-first, 6-second, & 2-additional doses

2 Pfizer: 2-second doses

  

Testing:

10 individuals tested with no positives.

8 - Delta and 3 - Alpha variants identified.
