TWO NEW COVID CASES ON THURSDAY

Quick tests yielding one positive at each location
From Milam County Judge Steve Young Thursday night:
Thursday we had two new confirmed cases of the virus to report in Milam County.
Six individuals were discharged from the active case list.
A Milam County adolescent has been diagnosed with Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children.
Thursday, twenty four individuals were tested in Cameron with one positive test. Twenty four were tested in Thorndale on Tuesday with one positive test. Five were tested in Milano Wednesday with one positive result. Friday we are testing in Buckholts from 8:00 a.m. until noon. To be tested one must be a Milam County resident and have symptoms.
Milam County cases:
- Confirmed cases 447 up 2
- Active cases 23 down 4
- Probable cases 27 up 1
- Monitored individuals 52 up 1
- Hospitalized 7 with 3 in serious condition
- Fatalities 5 – no change
