No relief ahead

Dear editor, Rockdale Veterans of Foreign War Post 6525 has been awarded “All State Post” in the state for 2018. This award has not been accomplished in Rockdale since the mid 1990’s, so we are honored to accept it. Our post has 104 members and an auxiliary to help us along.

That Thorndale voting box is finally in

Barbara Vansa has retired from the Milam County Clerk’s office after 33 years and was honored with a nice reception there Friday. To which my contribution was tying up a little business that has been pending for the past 28 years.
