Work week

Is a four-day work week appropriate for Rockdale businesses? Recently the Rockdale Independent School District sent out a message to parents asking if they would like to move to a four-day week instead of five days. It made us wonder how this would go over.

Looking back...

At a joint meeting of the American Legion, Chamber of Commerce and City Council committees, final plans were worked out for the big all-day holiday street working which Rockdale was to pull off on March 7 under the auspices of the American Legion.
