The Annual Milam County 4-H Banquet will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale.
We will award and recognize our 4-H sponsors and leaders as well as our 4-H members.
We invite our 4-H members, leaders and sponsors. We will have light refreshments and enjoy company.
COOKING SCHOOL—Dinner Tonight Healthy Cooking School is 12-noon to 1-p.m. Friday, Sept.21 at Bea’s Kitchen, 105 East Main in Cameron.
There will be demonstrations of recipes from the Dinner Tonight Cookbook. Extension experts from surrounding counties will conduct the demonstrations. Door prizes will be given.
Each participant will be provided with a Dinner Tonight Cookbook and kitchen goodies.
Cost is $25 in advance. Preregistration is required one week prior to the event. Space is limited to the first 25. Register by mail or in person at the County Extension Office, 100 East First, Cameron, Texas 76520.
CHRISTMAS COTTAGE—2018 Christmas Cottage is 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 2 at Bea’s Kitchen on the courthouse square in Cameron.
Admission is free. Lunch will be available starting at 11 a.m. There are door prize drawings during the lunch hour, 12-noon to 1 p.m.
GIFT EXCHANGE—On Nov. 26 the Holiday Gift Idea Exchange will be conducted at Bea’s Kitchen in Cameron from 6 to 8 p.m. You will see a variety of demonstrations, get handouts with instructions for the projects and enjoy refreshments and door prizes.
