Body

The new 4-H year will start Tuesday. Our 4-H leaders are gearing up by making sure all families are safe during COVID 19.

We are asking all 4-H families to wear masks and social distance at meetings.

Meetings will take place where there is adequate space to social distance.

Here are the first meeting dates and locations:

• Cameron, Tuesday, 6 p.m., Youth Exposition Building.

• Rockdale, Sept 14, 6:30 p.m., New Salem Club House, Fair Park, Rockdale.

• Gause, Sept. 7, 6 p.m., online.

• Thorndale, Sept. 28, 7 p.m., Thorndale Chamber of Commerce.

SCREENING

We are asking all 4-H families to fill out a COVID-19 screening form at each meeting.

Forms are on the website (www.join4h.com) and a few will be provided at the meetings to fill out.

It is best that you fill out the form prior to coming so you do not have to wait to fill them out at the meeting.

CLOVERBUDS

This year we will have our first-ever Cloverbuds project group. We will meet monthly on Zoom and learn about all kinds of fun projects and activities

Cloverbuds are kindergarteners, first graders and second graders.

Meetings are second Mondays, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., on Zoom.

The first meeting is Sept. 14 and you must sign up on 4-H Online by Sept. 11.

You must signup on 4-H Online to be on the Zoom app. Sign up starts Tuesday, Sept. 1.
