Milam County 4-H members participated in a 4-H Fun Day Camp Friday, at the Thorndale City Park.

Little River Basin Master Gardeners led crafts for the youth, painting milk jugs to use as watering cans, planting bombs with seeds to plant, and many other crafts related to plants and watering.

Serina Cole, United Health Care representative, led water games along with 4-H County Council officers.

4-H officers also led crafts for the youth including making Father’s Day gifts, submarines for a boat race, summer frames, 4-H pledge crafts, and sand art.

The youth had a great time and enjoyed all the fun activities and crafts.

Next 4-H camp will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018, at the Bea’s Kitchen in Cameron.

It will be a Photography Day Camp and we will be learning basics of taking photos as well as be able to take pictures around the square.

Please bring some type of camera. The camp starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 12-noon. Call to register so we have enough supplies for everyone.
