St. John’s United Methodist Church was given the Small Church Award at the Texas Annual Conference in Houston on June 10. The church was nominated for the award by Rev. Kip Gilts. St. John’s Pastor Madison Garcia-Tabor (left) and Jane Katz are shown here with the plaque awarded for their efforts in worship, outreach and growth.
