Dorman and Joyce Berry Bell began their life together on July 12, 1948 at Sunshine Community, Arkansas where they were married by Rev. Wesley Thomas Smith, grandfather of the bride. After moving to Texas, Dorman was employed by Dow Chemical Company for 28 years. Following that, he was employed by IBM, Beckman, and Conoco. Joyce was employed by Hudeck Brothers Furniture; Walmart; and IBM; and has always been known for her extraordinary pies and other culinary creations. The couple was honored with a dinner celebration at Apache Pass at Downtown Texas. The dinner was hosted by the Bells’ five children. Celebrating with the Bells were nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two nephews Glen Berry of New Hampshire and Michael Berry of Arizona; as well as other friends and family members.
