Milano Athletic Booster Club will hold its officer election meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9. This is a date change from the information released last week. The meeting will be held in the MHS library and voting will take place for new officers of the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years.
If you would like to volunteer for an officer position, contact Shelly Hollingsworth, Jennifer Mueck, or Lori Sexton, or you can comment on the MABC Facebook page.
TRACK—Congratulations to all of the Milano athletes that competed in the regional golf and track meets in Corpus Christi last week. There are several track athletes that advanced to the state meet on May 11-12 in Austin.
ATHLETIC BANQUET—The Milano High School athletic banquet has been set for 6 p.m. May 14 at the high school cafetorium.
FFA BANQUET—The Milano FFA banquet will be held at 6 p.m. on May 10, also at the high school cafetorium.
BOX TOPS—Please be sure to send your Box Tops for Education to Milano Elementary School, or contact me and I will get them from you. The deadline to turn them in for this school year is May 18.
