MILANO—Kenna Bounds is the valedictorian and Kalie Poehl salutatorian of the 37-candicate Milano High School graduating class of 2018.
Bounds compiled a 4.52 grade point average. (Averages higher than 4.0 are possible due to weighted honors courses.)
She is the daughter of Lee and Tami Bounds.
Poehl is the daughter of Randy Poehl and Lori Sexton.
Her average was 3.81.
Other honor graduates were listed as follows:
• Manuel Garcia IV, 3.73, son of Manuel Garcia III and Diana Carmona.
• Keaton Popham, 3.55, son of Clint and Dorcas Popham.
• Emilie Compton, 3.50, daughter of Powell and Stacey Compton.
• Aliya Arredondo, 3.31, daughter of Mark Arredondo and Joann Strange.
• Faith Taylor, 3.00, daughter of Lynette Taylor.
Graduation is set for 7 p.m. Friday at Geneva Paceley Gym at Milano High School.
