The i-Tigers organization at the Rockdale ISD has been named “Organization in the Spotlight” by the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce. The volunteer group helps out with the Community Easter Egg Hunt, providing Easter Baskets for kids that are in need of one, assists with face painting and Christmas events also. iTigers (not in order) include Andre Perez, Nick Adams, Gabrielle Torres, Jill Eubank, Tori Deardeuff, Heather Murphy, Elyssa Hebert, Faye Inman, Daisy Dekle, Donald Dekle. Staffers include: Adrian Acevedo, band tutorials; Laura Stevenson, knitting, English tutorials; Gimel Peterman, graphic design and video game club; Theresa Breithaupt, cooking, homework help. Campus coordinators are: Karen Langford, high school; Ashley Brown, elementary; Sandy Robbins, intermediate; Leesa Perez, junior-high.
