Master chili chef John Shoemake displays his hand-written recipe as he heads up the cooking team for the annual Methodist Men’s Chili Supper to be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at St. John’s United Methodist Church. The popular community event has used the tried-and-true recipe for decades. Tickets for chili with all the trimmings are $12 and will be available at the doors.
