The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is hosting its annual Nativity Display at 301 Calhoun Street.
“This is a free event, and all are welcome to come see all the different nativities,” said Anna Cain, spokesperson. “We have over 100 nativity sets from all over the world.”
Dates, and times are Wednesday Dec 4, 5 to 8 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 5, 5 to 8 p.m.; Friday, Dec 6, 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
St. Joseph Christmas Bazaar set for Dec. 7
St. Joseph Cathol ic Church’s Ladies Society Annual Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. 2 p.m. The lunch menu includes chicken stew, chili, chicken salad sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, chips and crackers.
There will be homemade baked goods, silent auction items and a country store for Christmas purchases.
Raffle tickets are $1 per ticket or six tickets for $5. Raff le items include gift cards in the amount of $500, $250, $100, $75 and $50, a folding utility wagon, a crocheted afghan and a hand-woven rug.
