Crossroads Bible Church will have a barbecue fundraiser on Saturday to support summer events for its young people including summer camp and its Girls in Action (GA) and Royal Ambassadors (RA) activities, according to pastor David Kaufmann. The fundraiser will be at the Rockdale City Hall parking lot from 9 a.m. until sold out.

MR. AND MISS MHS—Congratulations to recent Milano High School graduates Keaton Popham and Amanda Storey for being named Mr. and Miss MHS for the 2017-18 school year.
MISS FLAME—Kayli Yakesch, daughter of John and Shannon Yakesch, has been named Milano VFD Miss Flame for 2018-2019. Taylor Todd, daughter of Craig and Debbie Todd was named first runner-up.
MS RALLY—The annual Kristi’s Krusaders MS Rally for a cure event will be held Sept. 8 at Nat’s in Milano. This one will be for Kristi (Bode).
The event will include a motorcycle run, barbecue meal, live auction, a raffle, 50/50 drawing, T-shirt sales and live music from both Brooke Graham and Chris Kleiber.
