A 21-year-old Sharp woman died in a one-vehicle wreck Thursday afternoon north of San Gabriel. Crystal Brandl was pronounced dead at the scene—FM 3061 southwest of CR 413—by Justice of the Peace Gary Northcott after the 3:34 p.m. accident. Trooper Joshua Hendricks said Brandl’s southbound 1999 Ford pickup left the farm-market and slid into a pipe fence. Hendricks said she was wearing a seat belt. The Thorndale Volunteer Fire Department and an American Medical Response ambulance crew responded to the scene. Vehicle damages were listed as moderate.FM 3061 runs from San Gabriel to Lilac.
