The second “new look” surplus food distribution drew hundreds of persons to the KC Hall Thursday afternoon.
Pam Warren, chair of Rockdale Christian Services, said the Central Texas Food Pantry event served 328 households with 765 individuals.
“There were 18 new households with 37 individuals served on Thursday,” she said.
On April 2 the first “COVID-19 Era” distribution served 351 individuals in 881 households.
Spacing precautions were observed with volunteers placing food in vehicles.
