Sandow Lakes Ranch (SLR) donated $5,000 to the Rockdale Christian Services Food Pantry again this year. “SLR understands that there are many walks of life that benefit from the assistance that the food pantry and their partners provide. We want to help ensure that we lend a helping hand in hopes of alleviating some of the burden that is the cause of hunger and lack of nutrition. SLR became the new owner of the Sandow Lakes Ranch property in 2021 and has been diligently working to bring economic vitality back to the 30,000+ acres that once was the home of a rewarding operation. It is important to the SLR team that we preserve the history of the land and work towards building a relationship with the community,” said Kayla Schnell, SLR Communications Associate. Presenting the donation are members of the SLR team (L-R) Troy Ratliff, Kayla Schnell, RCS Board Treasurer Joyce Kirk and Dallas Spence.
