Our family members and friends helped Kelly Cooper celebrate her birthday Thursday, Aug. 16, at their home. We had a great time.
SCHOOL NEWS—Volleyball and football practice has started. Games will start in a couple of weeks.
Soccer registration will be Sept. 24 and 28 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Final date to register is Aug. 31 from 5-6 p.m. at the school.
School rankings are out and Gause ISD was ranked “Standard High,” the highest the school can receive. Congratulations to the students, teachers and staff.
PASTOR APPRECIATION— Stephen Chapel AME Church Pastor Appreciation Day is Sunday, Sept. 2, at 3 p.m. Everyone is invited.
FOUNDERS DAY—Gause Community Improvement Program will have their annual Founders Day on Sept. 8.
Be at Gause school grounds by 9:30 a.m. to get lined up for the parade if you want to participate.
There will be activity taking place at the picnic tables next to the Baptist Church.
You can rent a booth for $10 and set up what you have to sell, then all proceeds you receive are yours.
Activities will be held under the trees at the picnic tables.
