The 2020-2021 school year has started off with a bang.

We have welcomed students back while traversing this new world of on campus/virtual learning.

Students have concluded their second six weeks of learning and we are seeing progress and growth as we near the holidays. As we continue to make progress and close academic gaps with students, there are timeless lessons that we are prioritizing during these ever-changing times we are experiencing.

Students are learning how failure can be turned into something great with the help of grit and a positive mindset.

Each month students research different careers, colleges and trade schools that meet their needs and interests.

The hearts and minds are opened to what drives that fire within each of them and we encourage them to take their interests and pursue their passions.

Diversity awareness and respect for diversity is a campus and district expectation as we discuss how students can learn about their own family’s history, culture, and traditions.

We encourage families to talk with their children about some of these topics, as we hope to see each of them grow, this year and beyond.

We may be in unprecedented times, but that does not mean that we cannot persevere and grow together as a school and community.
