JAMBOREE—The Fourth Annual Country Gospel Jamboree was held recently at the Giddings High School auditorium. The event, hosted by the Cowboy Church of Lee County, drew a crowd of over 240 and featured several regional entertainers who specialize in country-flavored gospel music. The cowboy church band, Second Chance, anchored the oprystyle show, which included a brief message by Pastor Kevin Mahr. Paul Schlesinger of Taylor, fiddle player for Second Chance and the music team leader of the Cowboy Church of Lee County, served as emcee and director of the Jamboree.
