THE AG SIDE
Milam County 4-H’ers recently traveled to San Antonio to compete in the always competitive San Antonio Livestock Judging Contest. More than 500 youth competed in the 4-H division alone, making it one of the largest contests in the state.
A Milam County Senior team consisting of Adison Dach, Wylie Butler, Shawn Leifeste, and Kenzie Hobbs placed 2nd in the 4-H Division out of more than 50 teams in attendance. Kenzie Hobbs placed 4th and Shawn Leifeste placed 12th out of 227 total participants in the Senior division.
Participants from Milam County included: Jaxson Clinard, Wacey Butler, Landree Leifeste, Lyndon Stifflemire, McKenna Muston, Riley Clinard, Jenna McClurg, Wylie Butler, Adison Dach, Shawn Leifeste and Kenzie Hobbs.
