Milam County 4-H’ers have received scholarships as follows:
• Chandler Barton received a $20,000 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship.
• Neeraj Bhakta, $10,000 received a Fort Worth Syndicate Scholarship.
• Patrick Dean of Rock-dale, $20,000 received a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship.
• Caitlin Garcia, $10,000 received a Richard Wallrath Educational Fund Scholarship.
All four also received $500 Milam County 4-H Foundation/Chris Holcombe Memorial Scholarships.
Bhakta also received a $4,000 scholarship from the Forth Worth Stock Show and Rodeo for his Plant ID Contest and Patrick Dean received a $500 scholarship from Rockdale 4-H Club. Cameron 4-H Club scholarships went to Barton ($500), Bhakta-($400), and Houston Harris ($300).
