Milam County 4-H hosted the Hackamore Invitational Plant ID and Range Evaluation Contest Results:
Milam Junior Team No. 2—J.W. Hollas, Jenna Lindig, and Kyrene Jackson—was first.
Milam Junior Team No 1—Jacob Jackson, Ryan Luckey, and Jack Luckey—was fourth.
Junior individual placings: Hollas, 1st; Lindig, 2nd; Kyrene Jackson, 4th; Jacob Jackson, 7th, Ryan Luckey, 9th; Jack Luckey, 12th.
Senior team was first— Mason Lindig, Neeraj Bhakta, Patrick Cobb, and Rebecca Kostroun.
Individuals—Lindig, 2nd; Bhakta, 3rd; Cobb, 5th; Kostroun,6th; and Kassidy Hundle, 9th. Heath Hollas, 2nd competed in the Range Contest
The Plant ID team also competed at the District Plant ID and Range Contest.
Senior team was first and earned a spot at state contest—Mason Lindig, Neeraj Bhakta, and Kassidy Hundle.
Individuals—Lindig, 1st; Bhakta, 2nd; Hundle, 3rd overall. Junior Plant ID won 2nd in Range Team and won a spot at the state contest.
Ag Product ID team district results: Harleigh Barrett, junior, individual was placed 8th.
Intermediate team was 3rd: Robert Miller, Wylie Barrett, Jessica Yount and Jenna Frias. Miller was 5th, Barrett. 8th
Intermediate was Kaleb Yount.
Senior team was 1st and will advance to state: Grant Widner, Gabriel Ramthun, Scott Widner, and Abbigail Miller. Grant Widner was 1st, Ramthun 8th, and Scott Widner 9th.
